Paper Modeling

Building with paper or card stock is a growing area of ship model crafting.

Paper Model Kits
Paper model kits offer several advantages over traditional kits: they require very few materials (paper, card stock) and tools (blades, glue). They also allow for error: the modeler can simply reprint a kit page should disaster strike.

Here are two kits to download and build courtesy of the Guild's sponsor. Each kit has detailed instructions with accompanying drawings and photographs to help you recreate the 16th century merchant galleon SAN SALVADOR.

Version 1 is an advanced skills kit, while Version 2 offers the option to either build a basic or advanced representation of SAN SALVADOR. Both versions include Windows and Macintosh files.
